Well since we don't appear to have one yet I've created a guide to Smithing For Beginners which walks you through the first few big events of being a smith. We also have Basic Smithing which continues on from the beginners information, a list of how many ingots to make each weapon, some information on age descriptions and levels, a brief review of Expertise Weapons and of course we have information on Glowing Dusts and Metal Shards.
